Catalyst Health Network Expands Digital Impact for Providers, Payers and Patients Through Parent Company’s Acquisition of Medibookr
Strategic move accelerates the organization’s push to expand the capacity of primary care providers and enable primary care for all.
PLANO, Texas, July 27, 2021 – Catalyst Health Network, a network of more than 1,000 primary care providers throughout Texas, announced today that its parent organization has acquired MediBookr, an award-winning innovator in digital health solutions. The acquisition represents a significant milestone in Catalyst’s strategy to combine team-based care with best-in-class technologies to support patients and providers throughout the care journey. Ultimately, the organization’s work dramatically improves patient outcomes and reduces the total cost of care.
Since 2015, MediBookr has pioneered digital tools that increase engagement for patients, providers and payers. The company’s solutions have helped patients gain access to better, more timely information to navigate their healthcare needs, as well as facilitate effective communications with providers and care teams.
Now as part of the Catalyst organization, MediBookr’s technologies will pair with Catalyst’s renowned team-based care model and drive higher levels of personalized health engagement, as well as clinical results and patient satisfaction.
“Through this acquisition, we’re taking a crucial step forward in empowering a sustainable model of Advanced Primary Care for even more people in our communities,” said Dr. Christopher Crow, CEO and Co-Founder of Catalyst Health Network. “Our vision—our purpose—is to ignite change that helps every person receive primary care and live their healthiest life. That vision requires the right technologies to propel it forward.”
The Catalyst and MediBookr organizations share a passion for removing complexity from healthcare in actionable and measurable ways. Now as one organization, the team will advance its collective belief that a digitally enabled and team-based model for primary care and pharmacy services will improve patient outcomes, healthcare spending, stakeholder engagement and satisfaction.
“Having worked alongside Catalyst to simplify healthcare during the past few years, this move is a natural evolution for us,” said Sunny Nadolsky, CEO of MediBookr. “I look forward to continuing the transformation of primary care into the engine for health that we all deserve.”
