Quality Measures & Education: Colorectal Cancer Screenings
Over the past 18 months of the pandemic, we have seen a decrease in the number of colorectal cancer screenings (CRCS) due to increased concern around exposure to COVID-19 during in-person office visits.
Catalyst Health Network is working with Exact Sciences and Catalyst member practices to streamline workflow opportunities across the network and are strongly encouraging the utilization of Cologuard screening tests kits when possible.
Cologuard is covered by all Catalyst contracted payers except for BSWQA plans. The best practice is for patients to verify coverage directly with the Exact Sciences/Cologuard team prior to completing a preventative screening test.
